GHD Woodhead has been named one of the world’s largest architecture practices, ranking as #90 on the highly regarded World Architecture 100 listing.
This is the first time that GHD Woodhead appears on the list, published annually by UK-based magazine Building Design. Architecture practices are ranked by number of employed registered architects.
GHD Woodhead is one of only five Australian-based practices on this year’s list, and has also been named fifth largest fee earning practice in the Australasia region.
This represents global recognition for GHD Woodhead’s integrated and holistic design approach. The practice is responding to growing demands in a variety of sectors, including transport, commercial, education and science, residential, retirement living and aged care, infrastructure, defence and justice.
GHD Woodhead was formed in 2014 when the team from leading Australia-based architecture and interior design practice Woodhead joined GHD’s already substantial international architecture team. GHD Woodhead operates out of the GHD network of offices around Australia and globally.
