Meet Saeid Seddegh, GHD's new NZPAC Business Group Leader - Power & Future Energy
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Saeid Seddegh as the new Business Group Leader for Power & Future Energy, New Zealand-Pacific. Based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Saeid brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our growing team, further strengthening our commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
Saeid Seddegh joins GHD with 18 years of experience as a Renewable Energy Engineer and Project Manager and is highly regarded for his ability to advise clients on sustainable energy strategies. His impressive track record spans Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Concentrated Solar Power (CSP), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), long-duration energy storage (LDES), and green hydrogen. Saeid is skilled in energy strategy, decarbonisation, market evaluation, and has a history of developing robust business cases.
In his new role, Saeid will lead the Power & Future Energy team in Aotearoa New Zealand and the wider Pacific region. He will provide strong leadership, technical direction and project management, working closely with clients and stakeholders across the industry. Saeid is committed to fostering a technically skilled and client-focused team and will focus on building capacity and capabilities required to drive renewable energy initiatives and ensure effective project delivery and sustainable growth in the region.
Saeid is deeply passionate about accelerating the transition towards affordable, reliable, secure, and low-carbon energy and believes that collaboration and innovative, tailored solutions are crucial to achieving lasting community benefits.
